At CWC Psychotherapy, my goal is to help you uncover the deep emotional roots of those issues —whether interpersonal, work related, family centered or else— that keep you from being at peace with your thoughts, developing a genuine sense of self, or becoming the person you want to be.

My work with individual adults
If you often feel that life can be overwhelming, stressful or lonely, you don’t have to face it alone. My approach to therapy with individuals is geared to help you uncover the root causes of your struggles and equip you with the tools to manage stress, build resilience, and rediscover joy. Together, we’ll work on managing anxiety, learning the deep meaning and causes of depression, and navigating the complexities of loss and grief. I will use my in-depth, relational approach to build a foundation of trust and safety with you so that together we can understand your unique experiences and patterns, and collaborate to foster deeper connections with yourself and others.
My work with couples
Challenges can emerge at any stage of a relationship. Couples that I work with have been together for months, years, or decades. Some seek help with navigating conflict, life transitions, or deepening their connection. All are seeking growth towards greater closeness, intimacy and alignment.
My work with couples is hopeful and direct, aimed at making changes that strengthen their bond and help them reach their goals while identifying and celebrating the good in their relationship. I rely on the Gottman Method as well as Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples, in addition to psychoanalytic theory. Utilizing these approaches helps couples to explore their individual and family histories to identify the underlying dynamics of their present-day relationship. If you are a in a relationship that you want to improve through seeking to understand each other, uncover and heal old hurts, and forge skills that will help you create a meaningful and fulfilling life together, we could be a great fit.
